![]() We do adopt to out-of-state homes, however, we require the potential adopters to come to our rescue to meet and ride the horse(s) they are interested in adopting. We have a 30-day-trial period for each adopted horse where the horse can be returned for a refund ( within 14 business days - as long as the adopted horse is returned in the same good condition). As mentioned above, we want permanent homes for our adopted horses, thus we want a good match. If we have pedigree papers for the horse, those will come with the horse. If you have any issues filling out the online application form - please email us at and we can provide you a document for you to fill out. If the horse is not a match, the deposit is refundable. Once the horse completes training, you come back to ride the horse and we assess if the horse continues to be a match under saddle with you. This deposit is refundable pending the completion of his/her training. You pay half of the adoption fee of the horse as a deposit. * If you meet a horse that is not quite ready for adoption yet, we offer the "Dibs Program". You adopt the horse & bring him/her home. We will check your references, see where the horse will live. This adoption fee is held in escrow until the adoption is finalized.Ħ. If one of the horses is a match, you as a rider and he/she as your preference, we ask you to pay the adoption fee*, via check, PayPal (+2.5% for the PayPal fees) or Venmo.
